Description:
This fall, come explore with poetry in a variety of forms. Watch what happens when you
constrain language in forms like haibun, triolet, and ghazal. Using form often frees your mind to
explore language in new ways. This will be a generative workshop with time for sharing
included each day. Come ready to write.
I am invested in creating and maintaining a safe space for all teen writers including all of their
identities. I ask that everyone listen and respond in a way that respects each poet and their work.
